3-minute Chocolate Cake Oats

I’m obsessed with this breakfast bowl right now! They’re a bit like baked oats but cooked in about 75 secs in the microwave instead and the taste rather like chocolate cake for breakfast!

Ingredients

45g oat flour (blend your porridge oats in a nutribullet or similar)

100mls milk

1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder (about 15-20g)

1 heaped tsp cocoa powder

1/2 tsp baking powder

Method

  1. Mix the dry ingredients together in a deep cereal bowl

  2. Stir in the milk and mix well, it should be quite a runny texture

  3. Microwave at 700-800 watts for up to 75 secs until the mixture has risen and looks mostly dry on top, and just a little moist in the middle. If it’s still wet, cook in 10 sec increments and keep checking, be careful to not overcook!

  4. Top with frozen berries and greek yoghurt, or whatever else you fancy!
